I was on the ladder going upstairs when it suddenly broken and throwed me down onto the floor. I scraped my elbow and back, not seriously.

It seemed that the reason of the ladder’s broke-off is that it can’t bear my wight. But, that’s a quite surperficial conclution. The detective should inquire all the ones who regularly use the ladder, including Urecca, and it’s maybe someone else who is overweight. Heihei!
Though there’re two suspects who may murdered the ladder, I have to fix the ladder. So I took out 1yuan and bought 10 nails. Before they are hit into the ladder, I’d like them to dance a while for me. So they happily danced this pavan:

This morning I went to Xinzhuang to help my friend Abao move house. He moved from Yangpu to Xinzhuang, where his (he and his gf’s own house) new department located. They don’t have to rent a house from now on, but Abao it seems that Abao will spend more time on traffic. The house which he rented is near Fudan university, so close to his office that he can make to office before 9:00 even he gets up at 8:50. But that could be different know, he will have to wake up early next Monday and change for times before he get to office. He has already had a most efficient route in mind. First, walk about 10 minutes to metro Line 1, take Line 1 to South Shanghai Station for Line 3, and then take Line 3 to Chi Feng road, and then ride his bike 10 minutes to his office. He will have to change traffic for 4 times to work and will spend no less than 70 minutes, if we count the time of waiting in. Oh, poor Abao, he’ll never enjoy the feeling that lying on bed as late as 8:50 o’clock if he don’t make a job-hopping.
I searched Baidu Map and this pic below can give you an idea on how Abao have to travel to office:

Spending a long time on the way to work is a big problem for many of the citizen in Shanghai. This is the price for living far away from the downtown. But people can’t change it, because the house price is too high in the downtown and most people have to choose the way which Abao chose. That’s no surprise that every train is jammed like a line of sardin tins on the commuter time.
And here are some photos I took at the Xinzhuang Tube Station:

An Advice From Our English Consultant

Today I receive a training certificate from our Knowedge Department (a dept. in charge of staff training), a proof that I have finished my English Writing Course. Together with the certificate is the comment from our English consultant Richard. It’s not some complimentary remarks, but some criticsm. But good advice is always harsh to ear.
The comment is like this:
| Always in a rush, Roy. Slow down, listen more, ask questions, ask some more questions and then go on with your task.On the good side, you are very knowledgeable, which often shows in your Oral English. However, you are very poor at fulfilling your homework commitments.
So, my advice to improve your English is to write more and let it be checked. You will never improve without some well-meaning criticism. Richard Jones |
Yes, this is a dose of bitter medicine, but I should take it to improve my English status. I write blog in English every other days, but seldom check them or get some well-meaning criticism. The next step to improve is to polish my works.
