An Advice From Our English Consultant

Today I receive a training certificate from our Knowedge Department (a dept. in charge of staff training), a proof that I have finished my English Writing Course. Together with the certificate is the comment from our English consultant Richard. It’s not some complimentary remarks, but some criticsm. But good advice is always harsh to ear.
The comment is like this:

Always in a rush, Roy. Slow down, listen more, ask questions, ask some more questions and then go on with your task.On the good side, you are very knowledgeable, which often shows in your Oral English. However, you are very poor at fulfilling your homework commitments.

So, my advice to improve your English is to write more and let it be checked. You will never improve without some well-meaning criticism.

Yes, this is a dose of bitter medicine, but I should take it to improve my English status. I write blog in English every other days, but seldom check them or get some well-meaning criticism. The next step to improve is to polish my works.
