Shanghai Allauto Exhibition

Last Sunday, I paid a visit to an family car exhibiton held at Shanghai New International Expo Center in Pudong district. The exhibiton is called Allauto, featured by family cars, both demesticly produced and imported. In fact, this is a small exhibion campared with the Shanghai Internationl Auto Exhibition, which occurs in Shanghai once every two years. During the one year long vacant, some small shows would spring up, among which is the Shanghai Allauto Exhibition.

It’s cool, and I can feel a sense of fall in the wind.

At the entrance is the stage of Shanghai Volksvagon. It dissected a Passat B6 and let the visitor see the inner of the mid-up sedan. I guess none of the Japanese car maker dare to do this, ’cause they save everything they can on the parts that can’t be seen. Do you see the red beams? It intensifies the hardness of the door.

Ssangyong also exhibited some of its suv and mpv crossovers. They’re in a different style of look, weird but good.

This is a streched suv made by The Greatwall. It has a mini bar inside, but the price is as low as abt. 300k rmb.

     

I like this Lincon Navigator. If I’m well off enough I would bought one.

   

An Iran car maker named SAIPA also showed one of their car. They want to know the reaction of Chinese consumers towards the car which they intend to introduce to China. But I think in the eyes of most Chinese consumers both the exterior and the interior are obseleted. There perhaps exists a niche market in the country. I filled a questionaire and got a box of Iran nuts as reward :)

   

There were some imported cars but I did’t bring enough batteries to took them all. The Peogeout 206cc is a stylish one.

Move back to campus

Have been living in Shaoxing Road for more than a year, we want to seek some changes. One of the biggest benefits for a tenant like me is that I can move now and then. But is that movement eazy to do?Last Sunday, Urecca and me decided to move on impulse. The place we are liveing in now only have a single room. Not roomy but enough. It’s conveniently located in the center of the city, not far from Xujiahui and People’s square where we go to work. The biggest problem with it is that it’s difficult to find a proper restaurant, either too expensive or too nasty.

Polo’s special way of on-line ad.

I was writing a project report just now. And when I searched some info ab. Excelle (凯越), a hot mid class sedan made by Shanghai General Motor, on Google, together with the search result appears the sponsor’s ad on the left panel. Just like on the right. The ad on the top attracted my attention. It’s an ad sponsored by Shanghai VW, for its Polo sedan. This is very interesting that Shanghai VW buy the key word “凯越” which is a benchmark in China’s mid-class passerger car mkt and from who Polo wants to have bite.

This is a abnormal mkting ad. When some one wants to buy a Excelle car, and when he searchs info on the net he may also be attracted by the ad of Polo, which may be a better alternative.
