When I thought back abt. the journey, one thing I regrest most is that we pass these areas in a rash. Look through the whole trip, These three areas are with the most Tibatan flavor. You can see local people dress in their special costume, they like build and decorate their houses with white and Tibetan red. They breed yak and they go to lama temples. Here is a quite different world from the other areas. If someone searching sugestions form me, I will recommend him/her to stay in these areas somedays and observe and feel it.

XinDuQiao posesses an attactive nick – The Paradise of Photographers. I’d like to say these is a perfect paradise for the cute small pig.

The next stop after XinDuQiao is TaGong town. In fact it’s village. But have two lama temples, one is TaGong Temple, nick named small Potala Palace and said to be build by WangZhaoJun, while the other one is newly build with a golden roof. Oh, that little dog is a ZaoAao, isn’t him very cool?

BaMei is the greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeatest place in the journey. It’s great because its people. When we arrived there, the town was have a gathering at the square of a lama temple. Do you see the expressions on their face? Happy laugh and pure happy.

Move back to campus II

We get much earlier than usual. I have called 3 of my friends (i.e. Abao, Bill, 696) come to help while another 2 guys (i.e. Peixin and LittleKid) will join us at my new home. So, including Urecca and me, there will be 7 people altogether. We got everything wrapped up before the others came. It’s really quite a lot of things, much more than the time we moved in. Living here for 15 months, we have accumulated a lot of daily sundries and it’s difficult to say goodbye, after all Shaoxin Rd. is a nice place and the neighbors are kind to us.But there’s no time for regretting, since the guys and the truck have both arrived. We moved the packages on to the truck one by one. Some of the boxes were quite heavy that they need quite an effort to lift. Fortunately it’s not a hot Saturday. Within one hour, all our stuffs were on the truck. The guys were so efficient that I guess they may made a good life as a porter in a moving company. Then we hopped into the truck and another taxi respectively and drove to my new home near Fudan University.

This time we were in a even higher efficiency ’cause LittleKid and Peixin joined us, though my home is at the fifth level. Soon all the stuffs were jammed into my new home.

A big treat was inevitable for the guys. Perhaps that’s the reason why them came for :) It’s easy to pick up a restaurant here ’cause many good choices are available. We finished our big meal at a restaurant called DaLaoGuan (means boss’ Restaurant). And we spent the rest of the afternoon in my home playing a poker game call “Uno” which Urecca taught us.

We are quite happy to move back. The room is nice, and more over, we can walk into campus whenever we want to. Many of our friends live in or near the campus, we can have some gathering easily. It’s cool!

Move, move, let’s move

Remember my previous post “move back to campus“? At that moment I still wondering whether to move but now I have packed up several boxes of stuff. Yes, we’re moving, back to campus (to be exact, campus neighborhood).

There’s quite a struggle before the moving. The up side of moving back is that we can use the sources of campus and the living condition will be improved. The flip side is that: foremost, it’s very inconvenient to commute between home and office, it will take an additional one hour to office and I have to worried abt traffic jams. Second, the rent is 100 rmb higher compared to current, up to 1600rmb.

You can see how further I have to cover each day :(

But finally we signed on the rental contract. Just because we can’t resist the call of the campus, its facilities and its atmosphere. This Saturday, tomorrow, we will move.I’ve called 5 of my college friends to help.

From next Monday morning you’re hopefully to find me on the 10th Travel Line, zizzing.
