The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (1966)

Why?

导演:Sergio Leone

Clint Eastwood.

现在的Eastwood

American History X (1998)

His father taught him to hate. His friends taught him rage. His enemies gave him hope.

V for Vendetta
E- Who are you?
V- Who?Who is but the form following the function of what…and what I am is a man in a mask.
E- Oh, I can see that.
V- Of course you can.I’m not questioning your powers of observation.I’m merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
E- Right.
V- But on this most auspicious of nights…permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet…to suggest the character of this dramatis persona.Voilà!In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran…cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity…is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified…and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice…and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance,a vendetta…held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such…shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose. So let me simply add that it’s my very good honor to meet you…and you may call me V
E- Are you, like, a crazy person?
V- I am quite sure they will say so.But to whom, might I ask, am I speaking?
E- I’m Evey.
V- Evey?E-vey. Of course you are.
E- What does that mean?
V- It means that I, like God…do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence.

Watched a Takeshi Kitano’s movie – Zatoichi Zatoichi is the name of a blind warrier in the film, acted by Takeshi Kitano himself. Interesting, bloody, fierce and highly recommend for those who like this kinda movie
Oct. holiday + Mid-autumn day + Birthday = Last week

Yeah, it’s quit a busy week. I stayed at home for 4 days and you may can’t believe that I left Beijing for Shanghai the day before mid-autumn day.
Stay at home
Mother was very very happy to see me. My sister told me that mom was so anxious after she knew I would be back that she got difficulties to fall asleep. The taxi hadn’t really stopped when mother came out of the yard smiling through the window like a kid. Father was not at home, he is dispatched to a railway construction site in Hebei and hadn’t come back.
Meet friends
I spend the first day and the last day of the total 4 days at home, talked to mother and sister. For the intermediate two days, I went out for two classmates party respectively.
My college classmates (and friends) Stone and Jinji rent a cabin in the campus of Peking University. But neither of them are student of the school. After we graduated last year, Stone had come to Beijing chasing his movie dream. He loves movie and wants to be able directing a real movie of his own some day. Since the atmosphere and industry are more mature in Beijing, he chose to be a member of Beijing Lofting (北漂). He is not making money now. In fact, the pay he gets from a teleplay workshop only can make the ends meet. Life for him is hard. I asked if he regret any for choosing this route his gave me a definite “not”. He is hoping for a optimistic coming year. I respect Stone for his stubbornness. Jinji failed the second time for the graduate entrance exam. He now found himself a job in financial field and plans to make a third strike for entrancing Peking University.
Stone and Jinji are both “just do it”. I respect them, wish the divine bless them and wish myself can be just like them.
The next day, seven of my classmates had another gathering. Karaoke and then ate. For most of them I havn’t seen since I graduated form high school. But when we meet again, everyone seems didn’t change. Luancheng is still talkative and cute like he was. Mr.A is still kinda passive. I learnt fr them that many of the classmate get really a good job. Envying.
Celebrate birthday
Then I left home at Oct.5th, the day before mid-autumn day. But why didn’t stay home for the important festival? Yes, I intended to. But the day overlapped with Urecca’s birthday and this birthday is quite special for her. I changed a train fr Shanghai to Suzhou where Urecca was OTing met her and celebrated the double-happy day. That night I phoned my home, I was sorry for not staying with them.
Sleeping and the end
Oct.7th. After such a busy holiday I was really tired so I sleep that day
This is how I spent my holiday. What about yours? What did you do and do you enjoy it?
